JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Waiter to start working ASAP. Faircape requires the services of reputable Waiter. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have proven experience as a Waiter in a restaurant, hospitality or similar environment
- Having barista experience will be advantageous
- Must have knowledge of serving etiquette and basic wine service.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have strong customer service orientation with a passion for hospitality
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability and a sense of urgency.
- Must have ability to provide exceptional service and create a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.
- Must have ability to work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Must have strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- Must be professional, well-groomed and well-presented.
- Must have positive attitude with a willingness to assist where needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Changing table linen as required and ensuring dirty or damaged linen is counted and exchanged for clean, usable items.
- Cleaning and refilling cruet and condiment sets.
- Setting tables to laid-down standards, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged and in a good state of repair.
- To maintain designated areas to meet required hygiene standards
- Serving food and beverages in accordance with laid-down standards, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Practicing excellent customer relations at all times, accommodating resident needs without inconveniencing other guests.
- Handling customer complaints effectively and reporting all complaints to the manager.
- Assisting with daily, weekly and monthly stock audits, reporting variances or breakages to your manager.
- To restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Ensuring accurate billing of orders and reporting any errors to the manager.
- Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Be willing to assist outside of normal working hours with private events as required.
- Regularly restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies to ensure optimal service and availability.
