JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Storeman to start working ASAP. VKB Group requires the services of reputable Storeman. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 or NQF 4
- Having previous experience in warehousing will serve as recommendation
- Must have orientation towards housekeeping and accurate stock keeping
- Must be willing to undergo continuous training.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to work under pressure
- Team orientated
- Must have conflict management skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have problem solving skills
- Must have negotiation skills
- Must have organizing skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure that loading and offloading of stock from the yard and warehouses comply with policies and procedure.
- Stock control
- To ensure correct volumes of stock are on hand and stock rotation takes place as per policies and procedures.
- Daily walk abouts and inspections to ensure premises are neat and tidy and adhere to standards of VKB Group.
- To ensure compliance to health and safety policies and procedures
- Marketing of agricultural commodities
- Other ad-hoc job-related duties.
