JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Cashier to start working ASAP. Tsebo Solutions Group requires the services of reputable Cashier. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Completed National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have able to work in a pressurised environment
- Must have previous cash handling experience
- Must have proven customer relations skills
- Must be punctual and presentable
- Must have ability to work without constant supervision
- Must have proven track record
- Must have high hygiene and quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To assist with stock-takes at the unit
- To maintain excellent customer relationships
- To assist in implementation and enhancement of all controls in the unit, specifically in relation to cash
- Assures that warm, sincere contact is established with all customers
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service in compliance with the highest professional performance standard
- Exercise product knowledge and understanding of till operations, complete cash and card transactions accurately, and completely as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Preparation of each item quickly, but carefully to assure high quality and consistency.
- Presentation of each item to be attractive, whilst maintaining the highest standards.
- To keep loss prevention guide-lines in mind at all times, and assisting with stock-takes.
