JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
We are urgently looking for the qualified Electronic Security Systems Technician to start working ASAP.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric / Grade 12
- Must have 5-10 years proven experience in the Electronic Security Systems Industry
- Must have strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Must have Valid code 8 Drivers License
- Must have PSIRA registration Grades C.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have strong understanding and knowledge of router installation, networking knowledge, static IP configuration, and port forwarding for remote system access.
- Interpretation of wiring diagrams, floor plans and security systematics.
- Must have knowledge with UPS systems and structured cabling would be advantageous.
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have strong adherence to confidentiality and security protocols.
- Must have ability to work independently or as part of a team under project timelines.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To perform routine maintenance and preventative service on installed systems.
- To diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
- To conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations.
- To ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- To provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- To complete job cards, service reports, and administrative tasks accurately and on time..
