JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Armourer to start working ASAP. Fidelity Services Group requires the services of reputable Armourer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric
- Must have Grade A PSIRA accredited and registered with Response
- Mus have minimum of 3 years in security industry
- Must have no criminal record
- Must be willing to undergo criminal checks regularly
- Must be physically fit and in good health.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be honest and reliable
- Must have good verbal and language abilities
- Must be assertive
- Must be self-motivated
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must have quality assurance
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be willing to Travel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Full responsibility and accountability for all firearms
- To issue and receive all firearms to and from the armoury
- To report all delays to the Armoury Manager immediately
- Incident prevention and reporting
- To take preventive action towards any suspicious activity
- To keep all relevant registers up to date
- To ensure all firearms are clean and functional
- To report damages
- To scan firearms
- To ensure that all Regulation 21 refresher training is conducted on a monthly basis.
