JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Clerk to start working ASAP. TWK Agri requires the services of reputable Clerk. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric / Grade 12
- Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in short term insurance.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be Computer literate
- Must have advanced skills in Excel
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be deadline driven, good organizing and planning skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To assist at the Workshop and during breakdowns with the following:
- To inspect and test external farm equipment parts.
- To repair the fault using existing parts where possible.
- To replace broken parts with new and reconditioned parts.
- To keep accurate records of faults identified and repairs done to farm equipment.
- To maintain records of all parts used for invoicing purposes.
- To conduct routine maintenance checks on farm equipment according to the relevant standard operating procedure.
- To perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and farm machinery.
- To examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
- Note wear patterns and make maintenance recommendations.
- To keep accurate and detailed records of preventative maintenance checks and repairs completed.
- To ensure all work is carried according to SHEQ and company standards.
- To ensure farm equipment safety procedures are followed to avoid damage to engine components.
- To operate hand tools and carry out all duties in a safe manner.
- To maintain equipment, protective clothing and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
